I went shopping for the last time before I head for home. I was looking for a nice dress. My eyes fell upon this beautiful white dress in Metro. It was really sweet looking, with a pretty ribbon. I checked out the price and was a little dissapointed that it was way within my budget. Then I thought I'll try it on (just in case it doesn't fit me and I can walk away satisfied =p). So, I tried it out and guess what, it fitted nicely! But I had to put the dress back on its rack and walk away. If only it's half the price, then maybe I will buy it .

I'm home .

I was supposed to reach at 4.30pm but was stuck in a jam because of the heavy downpour . Only reached Bangsar at 6pm.

To my surprise, I found a present in my room. I asked my sis if it's for me. She said it's from my mom. I was curious. Why would my mom give me a present wrapped in a xmas wrapper? Is it a Christmas present?

After dinner, my mom asked if I have seen the present. Then, she proceeded to tell me that it's my birthday present . I was shocked! This year's birthday or next year's? She said it's for my 21st birthday! And she couldn't wait for the actual day to arrive to pass it to me .

An MP4! I don't know if it will be obsolete soon, but I didn't want to hurt her feelings by voicing it out. So I just told her that I like it. Well, it's not as good as an Ipod but this MP4 can play movies and snap pictures.

I like the back. It doubles up as a mirror .

My mom is so excited about my 21st birthday. I have no idea why. Maybe she thinks it's the most special age.

I tried out the food at Jack's Place for dinner. I was half-expecting the food there to be nice, but to my dissapointment, it wasn't THAT good. However, it was very filling. Initially, I planned to have dessert after dinner but had to cancel the plan as I was oh so full!

I'll be heading home tmr! One whole month to laze around and do nothing. As usual, I worry that I will be bored to death. Hopefully, I won't .

I've decided to stop being lazy for a while. So, here I am blogging .

I paid a visit to Vivocity last weekend. Boy, it was so crowded. The queue for the movie counter was so so long, but it reached our turn quite fast, unlike that of Msia's. Watched Happy Feet. I like the movie a lot. It lifted my mood a few notches up .

Oh, there is a total of three chocolate shops in Vivocity. I visited all of them . There was the terribly expensive shop from Spain (the cheapest thing there is a $5 mini treacle tart while the most expensive one cost $100+ for a small box of chocolate), Cocoa Tree which is reasonably priced but little in variety and Candy Empire, which as usual was packed to the brim. I bought a few pieces of chocolate from its 'Mix & Match' section. They were delicious. *drool*

Next, we dropped by one of the three food courts. The one we went to was architectured to resemble a village in ancient China. It was a job well done. They even had all the hawkers wear clothes to match the atmosphere. While we were there, we tried the supposedly famous fishball soup and chicken rice. Both were quite nice, but not as nice as we've expected them to be. A little pricey though.

For dinner, we ate at Carl's Jr. I love to eat the fries dipped into salsa sauce. Yummy . Oh, before that I satisfied my craving with a scoop of Ben & Jerry's. Pfish food! *slurp*

It was fun eating (hehe) and watching the movie. But a definite no-no, if there is intention to go shopping. Too crowded to shop at leisure. So, better be there early in the morning before the crowd hits the shops!

I'm deliriously happy .

I emailed my tutor, asking for clarification on the score of my F grade. I asked if it means that I received a 0 out of 20%.

His reply was:

You will be pleased to know that after discussing your case with the subject co-ordinator, we have decided to impose a penalty of a marks deduction instead of giving you an "F". Your grade is now a "C".

Yeay, I see hope in my final grade .
